PENSIPP is a micro-simulation tool whose main purpose is to calculate pensions under the French pension system using detailed information on individual trajectories (demographic and professional). PENSIPP calculates pension entitlements at a given age in accordance with the legislation governing the French pension system or an alternative system. PENSIPP enables users not only to describe the various mechanisms of the current pension system and explain their effects, but also to simulate and evaluate potential reforms to the pension system in advance.
