- Pierre Boyer is currently Professor at the École Polytechnique (CREST) and Director of the "Democracy and Institutions" program at the Institut des politiques publiques (IPP). He is also a research associate at the CEPR in London, at the CESifo Institute in Munich and at the Research Center for the Political Economy of Reforms at the University of Mannheim in Germany. He holds a PhD in economics from the Toulouse School of Economics and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales. His research work has been awarded the Edmond Malinvaud Prize and the thesis prize of the Association française de science économique, the economics prize of the Académie des Sciences, Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres de Toulouse, and the public economics prize of the CESifo Institute in Munich (Germany).
