This project analyses the effectiveness and redistributive effects of policies aimed at making the private car fleet in France more environmentally friendly. It is based on an analysis of existing incentives for the purchase of clean vehicles: the eco-bonus-malus scheme at the point of purchase, the conversion grant, the establishment of Low Emission Zones and fuel taxes.
