This methodological guide presents version 1.1 of the model and follows on from the guides for the previous versions, TAXIPP 0.0 to TAXIPP 1.0.
It describes the model’s operation in detail, from the source data used to the simulation programmes applied.
Compared with version 1.0, version 1.1 simulates the solidarity tax on wealth (ISF) and the property wealth tax (IFI) using the administrative data associated with these two taxes. This
new version therefore moves away from the methods previously used to derive net worth from income. Version 1.1 follows on from the recent upgrade to version 1.0, which represented a significant change in both data sources and architecture.
