Evaluation of the Youth Employment Contract - Institute of Public Policies

Context

The CEJ (Youth Employment Contract) is a scheme aimed at young people aged between 16 and 25 who are unable to find long-term employment.

Presentation

This wide-ranging project comprises two separate projects: the first assesses the effect of the CEJ by focusing on the career paths of beneficiaries, whilst the second assesses
the specific impact of the “CEJ rupture” scheme. In order to minimise the well-known and now well-documented phenomenon of non-take-up associated with this type of support, the CEJ incorporates a scheme known as “CEJ rupture”.

This scheme aims to identify and engage those young people furthest from the labour market and, subsequently, to provide them with more personalised support in their job search.
