This project aims to investigate the feasibility of a tool that would provide the closest possible approximation to a real-time measure of inequality and redistribution in France. It is based on a significant improvement to the monthly income conversion and the ageing module of the Taxipp model, the microsimulation model developed at the IPP. Priority will be given to analysing changes in employment status, transitions within the labour market, trends in private-sector wages and unemployment benefits (as well as demographic trends in general).
