This partnership between the IPP, the Institut Polytechnique de Paris and the École normale supérieure-PSL aims to establish an Observatory on Equal Opportunities in selective higher education programmes. Its aim is to analyse the social, regional and academic background of students entering preparatory classes and grandes écoles, to examine trends in inequalities of access, and to produce thematic reports on specific issues, such as the under-representation of women in engineering schools.
