A former student of the École normale supérieure and ENSAE (Class of 2007), and holder of a postgraduate research degree (DEA) in social sciences from the EHESS, Delphine Roy is a senior civil servant at INSEE. Her research has focused on the allocation of resources within couples and domestic work, the effects of childcare arrangements for young children, and later on the public and private provision of support for dependent elderly people. Head of the “Disability and Dependency” unit at the DREES from 2014 to 2019, she joined the Institut des politiques publiques in December 2019 as Director of the “Health and Autonomy” program.
