After his studies at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris, Simon got a PhD in Economics from Paris School of Economics. His doctoral research focused on the ex post and ex ante evaluation of reforms of the French public pension system. Simon worked for IPP from 2016 to 2018, and works on all the projects concerning pension systems. He is involved in the development of the dynamic IPP microsimulation tools (TAXIPP-Life), and continues his research on retirement decisions. He is currently Economist at the Centraal Planbureau (CPB) – The Hague, Netherlands.
