What profile are we looking for?
The IPP mainly recruits candidates with a solid background in economics and mastery of quantitative evaluation methods. Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R or Stata) is also expected. As the work of the IPP is systematically published, it is important to be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral skills.
Do you have to speak French?
Yes, and English Our studies are carried out on behalf of national and international organizations. On a day-to-day basis, our teams work mainly in French. It is possible to work on certain projects in English, however, depending on the project team’s preference.
Do you need a thesis to apply to the IPP?
Not necessarily. The IPP can offer a favorable framework at the start of a career for those who are hesitating to do a thesis or who want to consolidate their skills and mature their thesis project.
Does the IPP take on summer interns?
Yes, depending on the volume of current projects. The management team naturally takes time off during the summer, but there’s no one best time to do an internship at the IPP.
